On Saturday May 15th, Immanuel Community Church Houston held its first ESL class and welcomed new students.

The meeting focused on giving and introduction of what the class would cover which will mainly be grammar, vocabulary, writing, and conversation.

The teacher gave vocabulary words for the students to learn until their next meeting and they went over the pronunciation together. In addition to this, some common greetings were taught as well as the pronouns and the verb “to be” which are mainly used in all sentences.

The participants were very grateful to the church for serving through this ESL class and it is hoped to welcome more students in the near future.
