Immanuel Church Begins May Meditating on Salvation Only By Grace

Immanuel Community Church held a joint retreat with Dallas Trinity Church at Dallas, Texas on May 1st-2nd and began the new month meditating on salvation only by the unconditional love and grace of God.

Covering the beginning chapters of Galatians, those who attended the retreat focused on understanding their faith in Christ and the salvation that God has given to sinners without any condition. As the Apostle Paul shared in Ephesians 2:8-9, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.”

The apostle wrote the letter to the church in Galatia for them to know their salvation through Christ in a deeper way and not be misled by the false teachings that had infiltrated the church at that time which placed conditions on gentiles to receive salvation. However, God never asks anything from the sinner but welcomes us like the father did the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32). Accepting this unconditional love and precious blood of Jesus, His sacrifice on the cross, is how one can be saved, and that is all the grace of God.
