About Us

Who we are

Immanuel Community Church’s dream and mission is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Greater Houston Area and surrounding cities. We are passionate for the Word of God, evangelism, and prayer and we wish to continue the legacy of Jesus to carry out the Great Commission and make disciples.

Our Vision

Located in La Porte, TX we wish to be instrumental in the fulfillment of God’s dream to make His name and love known to all people, regardless of who they are. We love the abundant diversity formed by people from various backgrounds and seek that they all be harmoniously united in the truth.

We are fully committed to fulfilling the Great Commission that the Lord Jesus Christ appointed His children to follow. As true disciples of Christ, we not only follow the footsteps of Christ in finding the lost sheep, but our vision is to bring them back to the arms of the Father through a relationship with Christ, help them find their purpose through the word, identify their talents and help them use it for the glory God. We do this through spreading the good news of the Gospel to the neighborhood, street, and on campus.

What we believe

We believe in the Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct…

We believe in One God , eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit…

We believe in our Lord Jesus Christ , God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and His Personal return in power and glory…

We believe in the salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit…

We believe in the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ…

We believe in the unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ…

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
